Fishing in Grove Ferry

Today was a delightful day spent along the serene banks of the River Stour at Grove Ferry in Kent, near Canterbury. Dash, Gabriel, and Milo were engrossed in the simple yet captivating world of river fishing with their nets. In this photo, the boys stand at the water's edge, fully absorbed in their adventure. Milo, the eldest, is on the right, confidently holding his net, ready to catch anything that might come his way. Gabriel, in the middle, leans forward with eager anticipation, his eyes focused on the water as he hopes for a good catch. On the left, little Dash stands close by, observing his brothers and waiting for his turn to join the fun.

The backdrop of moored boats and lush greenery perfectly frames this moment of childhood curiosity and exploration. The overcast sky and gentle ripples in the water add to the tranquil ambience of the scene. Watching them interact with nature reminds me of the pure joy from simple pleasures and the bond that strengthens as they share these experiences.
