South Bank

Had a nice day out today—went up to London to meet my Uncle Rob, who is also a keen photographer. We'd been planning to get out for a walk with cameras for a while so it was good to finally manage it. We decided on London's South Bank as a good venue—lots to see and take pictures of there—and started with a pub lunch at The Anchor. This is my old stomping ground from my student days—so it was nice to revisit the old haunts, although so much has changed over the last 15 years. The light wasn't the best as we were constrained to mid-afternoon, but I like this architectural shot of a building just to the west of Southwark Bridge.
