An Exercise in Symmetry
Monday. The day started cold (about 7°C) but with clear blue skies. I dropped Dash off at school; he has an English Literature paper this morning. I was working the morning shift out of our Blean office, and while I was there, the weather changed completely. I drove back into Canterbury in heavy rain, and there were multiple road closures bringing traffic to a crawl. Luckily, the lunchtime meeting was brief and painless, and the afternoon passed without any commotion, too. I worked the late shift, but it was pretty quiet, and I got home around half past seven. Monty tells me Kenadee and Bento have safely arrived at her aunt’s house in LA. Chicken soup for supper and an early night.
