Ancient Wood
Thursday. A clear, sunny, blue-sky day for the most part, but cooler with a nice breeze. It was an extremely busy morning at work, stretching well past midday. Our office is pretty short-staffed at the moment. The afternoon should have been quieter, but even though I’d got a lot of the jobs done in advance, events still conspired to complicate things. I stopped in Waldershare on the way home from work and re-visited the Monumenta Romana, which is less than a minute’s walk from the lane. A few days ago, I noticed there is a lot of potential for abstract shots in the reclaimed marine timbers used in its construction—a valuable spot to remember whenever I need to grab a quick Blip.
