Wednesday. Grey and cloudy for most of the day, but the air remained heavy and humid. Back to work for me this morning, but luckily the morning was pretty light and I had time to catch up. I had to work a late session in the evening and got away around seven. The weather had brightened, and I was treated to some amazing light on the drive home; warm evening sun with dark clouds in the background. I took a detour along the country lanes, aiming to photograph the golden fields in the setting sunlight. I saw that the wheat was being harvested in this field along Singledge Lane, but I did not expect the stroke of luck that brought this huge combine harvester right past me while I was lining up the shot.
