Appledown Gold

Wednesday. A warm sunny day with clear blue skies, and with temperatures reaching 17°C, it really does feel like the first day of summer. An early start—back to work for me after the long bank holiday weekend. Gabriel travels back to Manchester today; he’s catching a train from Dover Priory just before 9 am. I had a very busy morning shift, but luckily it had calmed down by the afternoon. I managed to squeeze in a couple of short walks in the city centre—just a few kilometres, but it all adds up. I took this photo on my way home from work… another shot capturing the bright yellow fields that really seem to signify springtime around these parts.
