Bento’s Favourite Spot
Monday. Grey and overcast, with a damp mist that lingered all day. It was pretty cold—about 5°C on the way to work. I had a wonderfully quiet shift, and even the lunchtime meeting could be described as pleasant. Plenty of time to catch up on paperwork, and I got several stressy admin tasks out of the way, much to my relief. Monty returned from Portugal this afternoon; Vanessa, Ken & Raff picked him up from the station. Fish, chips and mushy peas for supper: yum!
