Birthday Party
Wednesday. Glorious weather, clear blue skies and sun, with a few wispy clouds. It’s not particularly cold, and for the first time, it feels like Spring is on the way. The day began in a rush, but work turned out to be pleasantly uncomplicated. I forgot my wallet, which could have been a real pain, but Raff kindly dropped it off at the office when he came in for his lectures later. I had my annual appraisal today, which, fortunately, turned out to be just a friendly chat.
Got home around six, for a nice mellow evening. Fish & chips for supper, and then an impromptu extra games night—Guild Wars 2 has had a patch released: a brand new raid wing, plenty of new features, and legendaries to chase. Not only that, but one of our guildies is celebrating her first year in the game today, which certainly warrants a virtual pub crawl.
