Bitterfrost Frontier
Wednesday. Cold, wet and rainy all day—it’s starting to feel like winter, let alone autumn. There are new road works in town, right along the route we take for Dash’s school run, which means a late start for me. The morning was hectic, but thanks to a mix-up with the rota, I unexpectedly had the afternoon off. Raff was back at university today, but now has the rest of the week off before the course begins in earnest on Monday. Gabriel’s doing ok in Manchester, although understandably, a bit of homesickness creeps in from time to time—plenty of phone calls, FaceTime and virtual hugs administered. Supper tonight: Colcannon-Style Potato Cakes with Creamy Mustard Basa.
Later on, my guildies and I got together for a nice long session of GW2… tackling more of the story content and exploring the wintery delights of Bitterfrost Frontier before moving on to the next chapter in Lake Doric.
