Catching Rays
Wednesday. An early start: Vanessa is off to Manchester this morning to visit Gabriel. Train fares are ridiculous these days, so she’s taking the coach—it’s a much longer journey, but about a tenth of the price. I dropped V into Canterbury at about 5 am, then home for a coffee before it was time for me to leave for work. It wasn’t too busy, and I got away by five. After that, a very peaceful evening at home. Raff and I made Indonesian-Style Basa Rendang with Green Bean Rice for supper, which was delicious.
