Char-Broil
Monday. Still very damp and foggy in the morning, even thicker than yesterday. Got my daily photo in early; I wasn’t sure I’d have time to do much photography later, so decided to capture a few rainy details in the back garden. It’s back to work for me after a week of annual leave—never a welcome development, but fortunately, the shift started with a block of catch-up time to get up to speed with my paperwork. By midday, the weather had improved dramatically, and stayed warm and sunny for the rest of the afternoon. Went for a short walk at lunchtime, got my steps in, and came back to the office for the long Monday afternoon meetings. Just a quiet evening at home; the troops all hit the gym, and I made a hearty chicken soup for supper.
