Colour-Popping with Pride
Wednesday. Another lovely summer’s day; cool, bright and sunny at the outset—but it became very hot and muggy from mid-morning. My workday was long but not too busy. It stretched in the early evening with a late shift, but I was able to get away before 7 pm, and at this time of year there is still plenty of light in the evenings. I grabbed a late coffee from McDonald’s on the way home (I have to pass that way to avoid the traffic jams at the moment) and I took this photo with the Tiny Planets app while I was waiting. The resulting spiral of rainbow Pride flags really makes this image, so I emphasised them with a sneaky colour-pop and a little rotation blur in Nik Analog Efex 8.
