Dark Knight
We have a birthday in the house – our #5 son, Dash, is another year older! Celebrations began with presents and a full English breakfast first thing in the morning... sausages, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, black pudding, potato cakes and toast. After that, there's the downloading of new games on Steam and playing with new collectables in the form of replica broadswords, daggers and helmet – all safely blunt, fortunately. Dash & Gabriel do love their medieval weaponry. Later, Dash wanted to bake his own birthday cake and some soda bread before supper with steak and chips.
I persuaded Dash to let me take a rare portrait in his new warrior's gear, which definitely needed a monochrome and menacing approach.
