Down For Maintenance

Thursday. It’s been grim, gloomy and wet all day, but with the thick blanket of cloud swaddling the land, it has not been too cold. I dropped Dash off at school this morning, and Gabriel needed a lift into town later—he’s off to visit friends in Herne Bay. Milo and Raff were out and about: to the gym, church, shops, and library, but not all at the same time. Monty worked all day in his home office, and it’s Kenadee’s birthday today—she’s celebrating with her best friend Meg in Manchester. In the afternoon, I whipped up a batch of homemade sausage rolls; Vanessa has a wreath-making event at work this evening, and promised everyone I’d make some. I think they’re making Christmas wreaths rather than funeral ones, but you can never be sure.

Today’s photo: my nice old gaming rig needed a service. The water-cooling system needed refilling, which means the drives had to come out to access the tank. So it got a good dusting and hoovering as well, and is running cool and quiet once again.
