Fierce Dreams

Sunday. Most of the day’s events seemed to happen before breakfast. A post-club taxi run evolved into a fun early-hours-of-the-morning game of ‘Finding Milo’. I did not win, but the offspring made it home anyway at some point before sunrise. My 6 a.m. coffee was interrupted by a sudden sharp downpour of torrential rain that disappeared as quickly as it arrived — but it was enough to precipitate a Cushion Crisis. V’s working in Folkestone again, and I filled my time catching up on photography projects, writing, and a bit of DIY in preparation for the move to my new study.

Gabriel took the last lap of his European adventures today, Belgium to Dover, and got back around three in the afternoon — very happy and overflowing with stories of his travels. V made chilli & nachos, and we all took supper outside on the patio. After that, a really early night for me — pretty much sparko by eight-thirty.
