Figfall

Wednesday. Cold, wet, and murky from the start. The school run was busy, and I had a couple of errands to run in town before I could return home—definitely a day to hunker in the warm. Raff, Ken and Monty are all at home too, so it was nice to hang out with them. In the afternoon, the weather worsened, and the wind howled outside my window. No prospect of going out to hunt photos today… but I did spot this little green fig in the back garden; fallen from the tree and nestled in a pile of wet maple leaves—a nice splash of colour on a very grey day.
