Saturday. A bit cooler today; still warm and sunny overall, but with some scattered clouds and a breeze. Slept well, went for an early walk, and got on with some projects I have on the go. Dash and I watched Avengers: Infinity War later in the morning. Raff and Milo both went into town to meet up with friends. Gabriel has a trial shift for a holiday job today, catering at a wedding reception in Preston. If all goes well, it will mean he can easily pick up work whenever he’s home from Manchester; a boon for his bank account. I dropped him off around two, and picked him up at six-thirty. It went well.
We ordered Dominos Pizza for supper, which was obligingly ready and waiting when we got home. My watch was not yet over, and I had more taxi duty in store: Gubs went out to meet old school friends in Canterbury, so needed a lift to town, and probably a retrieval in the early hours tomorrow.
