Freshly Ploughed

Sunday. It’s the last day of my annual leave… but I know I have a couple more weeks coming up very soon, so the prospect of returning to the fray does not seem so bad. The house is quiet; most of our family is away at the moment. We had pleasant, warm weather for most of the day: sun and scattered clouds. It was indeed a day for pottering about, and I headed out along the lanes for a photo walk in the late afternoon. Supper was easy—plenty of curry left over from yesterday. It always seems to taste better after it self-marinates in the fridge overnight.
