Gabriel’s Birthday
We have another birthday in the household today; our #3 son, Gabriel, is seventeen. It’s mid-week, and we all still have the minor irritations of work and school. Gubs is doing work experience this week and spent a very enjoyable day at Rock Paper Scissors, an art supplies and event venue in Canterbury. This is right up his street and turned out to be a great way to spend his birthday. In the evening, we celebrated with a feast of Chinese takeaway – the birthday person always gets to choose; that’s the law – cocktails and card games. It was a hot sunny day and stayed very warm late into the evening, hence the shirtless look. The gym is pretty much Gabriel’s second home!
