It’s a Lock
Sunday. No change in the weather—more flat, softbox skies and a damp chill in the air. I slept in till almost eight—unheard of for me—then headed out to brave the mists, and find more photographs along the seaside. The local landscapes tend to look very drab in this light, but it’s great for capturing details, textures and rich colours. By the beach in Walmer, I found an old lock, splashed with red paint, hanging against a dark grey wooden background: perfect!
