Life in the Cracks
Wednesday. Cool and overcast for most of the day, with a few patches of blue sky from time to time. Our house was bustling this morning, as Ken, Monty & Milo finished their packing and prepared to set off on their travels. They’ll be away for about a week, visiting Amsterdam, Brussels, and then Bruges, staying in hostels as they go. Raff dropped them at Dover Priory station at eight to get their train to the airport. I had a nice, low-stress day at work, with an uncomplicated morning shift, and just a few meetings in the afternoon. I even managed to fit in a quick walk around Canterbury at lunchtime. Chicken Soup for supper, then I settled in for an evening of GW2’s famous April Fools celebrations.
