Midjourney’s Splash
Monday. Sunny and clear all day, and according to the Met Office, a bit cooler than last week. Dash had a Sixth Form induction day at school, so he came along on the drive to Canterbury this morning. Quite a long day at work for me, but it was a supervising shift and I usually enjoy those. It felt very hot in the little triage room on the top floor — not sure if the Met Office got the whole ‘coolness’ thing entirely right. Wide open windows and a couple of fans made it manageable, and the session went by smoothly. Just a quiet evening at home: I made soup for supper, watched a bit of telly and played Guild Wars 2 — perfect!
Today’s image: I was writing a tutorial for my photoblog on the history of image editing, from the first days of photography up to the current AI era. One of my ideas for an illustration was to ask the various current AI models to create a ‘colourful and eye-catching image that captures the evolution of image-editing over the last century’ but which otherwise left the details up to the AI’s imagination. The various offerings will appear together in a carousel montage at the end of the tutorial. Here’s Midjourney’s interpretation of the theme.
