Red Rain
Wednesday. Very grey and murky — we had heavy rain overnight, still spitting through the morning. It was oddly humid, and around 20 deg on the school run; enough to keep the windows down along the A2. Quite a busy morning, and the work stretched well into lunchtime. Luckily, kind people brought me emergency Starbucks, and the afternoon was far better behaved. Just after five, on the way home, the heavens opened with a torrential downpour. Traffic drew to a halt as I approached Whitfield, and I managed to get a few abstract shots, hands-free, with the phone mounted on the dashboard. A very quiet evening at home: even my guildies are away for a few days. Steak pie and veggies for supper, a bit of telly and an early night.
