Wednesday. Another beautiful sunny day—it’s turning into a glorious Spring. Although now I’ve said that, I feel I’ve probably jinxed it, and the storm clouds will come marching over the horizon any minute. Work ran smoothly, a pleasant supervising shift with a prompt finish.
I went to grab a bit of sushi from Sainsbury’s for lunch. On my way in, I noticed bright sunlight and deep shadows playing across a lovely old coin-operated kiddie ride in the foyer. This bright yellow digger is Scoop from Bob the Builder—my older boys loved this show when they were tiny. Seeing this cheery yellow smile immediately lifted my mood by an order of magnitude, so it had to be my blip for the day.
