Sea Wall & Serendipity
This morning I drove to Margate early, arriving around 8 am on a bitingly cold morning. I took some photographs of the remarkably vivid colours on the sea wall. I had also planned to try some more long-exposure seascapes near the harbour, and set up my camera and tripod with a view of these craggy rocks and the small offshore beacon.
During one of the long exposures, I accidentally knocked the tripod, resulting in some unintentional kinetic photography. As it turned out, though, I liked the result better than the more conventional pictures I took today - serendipity…
