Serengeti Fields

It’s a brighter, sunnier day – and a perfect Sunday morning with great light and gentle breezes. I got to bed early last night and slept like a log. I must have clocked up ten hours of sleep, which is unheard of for me… but it feels good to have caught up. I left for an early walk, hitting the lanes at about half past six. I took this image along Singledge Lane, just a kilometre into the walk… we nickname this spot Serengeti Fields. The open plain and this particular line of trees always remind me of an African savannah in the right light. In other news, Milo & Liv are in Lanzarote for a week’s holiday, and Monty leaves Prague today to meet up with friends in Milan tomorrow.
