The Pine Tree Valley Bit
This morning was very civilised at work, and I managed to get away on time in the early afternoon. On the way home, I took a route through the country lanes. It feels like a while since I shot the landscape. The conditions were great, with cloudy interest in the sky and bright but even light across the frame. At this time of year in Kent, finding a scene that is not covered in yellow flowers is the real trick!
This image is taken along Singledge Lane, a regular haunt for me as it is the route we use for our daily walks to get the steps in. It's a place I've come to know like the back of my hand, and 'the pine tree valley bit' is just the nickname I use for this section of the lane.
