Tuesday. Gorgeous sunny day with blue skies—it’s quite warm and pleasant outside. Just a morning shift for me today, and with no school runs, the roads are very clear. V’s on the way home, on the early coach from Manchester; she should get back to Canterbury at half past four. Monty & Ken are off to Hastings this afternoon to meet their friend Meg (plus new boyfriend) for dinner at The Crown. I dropped them at Dover Priory station, then headed back into Canterbury to pick up Vanessa.
