Waiting in Greenwich

This evening, Gubs and V have tickets to see Take That in concert at the O2, with Ollie Murs as the opening act. I'm the designated driver, and luckily, the journey could not be simpler. Whitfield and Greenwich are literally at opposite ends of the A2.

Not so luckily, my evening did not turn out as planned! After the drop-off, instead of strolling by the Thames, taking a few pictures, and grabbing supper, I realised I'd left my phone at home and was completely incommunicado. There was no way I'd find them after the concert without my phone, so I drove back home to get it. Fate threw in a couple of extensive road closures and diversions, so in the end, I went about 240 miles over seven hours.

I did manage to take this picture in Greenwich when I finally stopped to get a takeaway. I set my phone on the bonnet of my car in a mini-tripod and used the Slow Shutter app to capture light trails from passing buses, which reflected nicely in the black paint.
