Wet Hydrangea

Saturday. The wet weekend begins—we had heavy rain first thing in the morning, although later that settled to fitful showers. It was cold enough to turn on the heating, despite the time of year. The flat, even light and raindrops tempted me outside to photograph details around the garden… droplets, reflections and wet leaves make excellent subjects. Vanessa managed a long walk without drowning—no mean feat—and Milo was off to Folkestone in the afternoon for a friend’s party.
