Woodland Walk

Perry Woods, Selling, Faversham, May 2015

It’s a bank holiday today, and it's such a relief not to have to go to work! We packed a picnic and decided to head to Perry Wood, one of our favourite spots for a walk with the boys. After plenty of scrambling up and down the slopes in the forest of tall pine trees and ferny undergrowth, we headed up the hill to one of the open areas with a picnic table to have lunch. Milo kindly let me take this photograph as he relaxed on the grass, wearing his new shirt with a flag that changes colour depending on the temperature!
