Cliffs & Clouds
We are in the last few days of the boys' summer holidays and were determined to make the most of them despite the inevitable panic about uniforms, outgrown PE kit, shoes, stationery and unfinished homework. We went to Reculver this afternoon, on a lovely bright crisp day - perfect for a walk along the clifftops, then down to the beach so the boys could look at rock pools, and I could take pictures. The light was strong and contrasty, so infrared seemed a natural choice; I made this panorama with several frames stitched together in PTGui.
One more bit of news—this evening, I went along to Parkwood Camera Club near Gillingham for the introductory evening at the start of their yearly programme of events. It seems like a very lively and active club, and I have been meaning to join one for years but never got around to it until now—it should be fun!
