A Cautionary Tale
Friday. Gubs needed a 2 am lift from the Tokyo Tea Lounge, so I did not get much sleep in the end. It was nicely sunny in the morning, but later changed to heavy rain and wind. A long finance meeting with the accountants at work this morning, but a much quieter afternoon. Back at home, final packing for Gubs, and loading the car ready for the early drive tomorrow. At the last minute, with a vehicle already bursting at the seams, Gabriel found another five bags of stuff he really wanted to take—Time Lord technology was required. In Raff’s Bistro this evening: Cheesy Baked Basa with Mediterranean-Style Veggies, then I grabbed an early night to catch up on some sleep.
