A Splash of Yellow

Wednesday. It was cold and overcast, with a few rain showers on the way into Canterbury. Dash has a Geography GCSE paper this morning. Luckily, the traffic was pretty well-behaved. My morning at work passed quickly, without any major hiccups, and we have staff training this afternoon — which normally means a welcome earlier finish. I had to collect Dash after his exam so he could get home promptly and start revising for tomorrow's double whammy of Maths and Psychology; he is not looking forward to that. The afternoon also brought a dose of weather bingo, with sunny spells alternating with high winds and sudden torrential downpours, making planning a walk more interesting than it should have been. I did get out for a few kilometres in the early evening while my soup was simmering.
