Autumn Sun
Saturday. Clear blue skies and crisply cold in the morning. That all changed by midday; the second named storm in as many days, Storm Boelo, hit northern Britain. We only got the tail end of it, but we had high winds and persistent heavy rain for the rest of the day. I got out along the lanes to take a few photos before the weather turned.
Vanessa took Dash out for a haircut in the morning, then went shopping in Canterbury with Tara until late afternoon. Raff went to the university library to get some work done, then met up with his friends. Milo’s away in Southampton for the weekend with Poppy, so we won’t see him till next weekend. Kenadee & Monty will be off to Seoul this week to celebrate their first wedding anniversary, although we don’t know exactly when they’re flying.
Just a quiet afternoon for me, hunkered in my cave while the storm blustered outside; plenty of currency farming in Guild Wars 2 accomplished. V made an excellent curry for supper. I watched a bit of telly and went to bed early.
