Sunday. The clocks went back overnight: an extra hour of weekend, and darker evenings ahead. Bright sun and clear blue skies from the start — Storm Boelo seems to have buggered off, but we’ll have to see if the good weather sticks this time. Just a very peaceful morning with good coffee, sunshine and a short walk along the lanes. Raff went off to Mass around eleven.
Vanessa is getting the coach up to Manchester tomorrow to visit Gabriel; an early start at 05:30. She’s made a huge pot of chilli for the fridge — largely to avoid us resorting to takeaways over the next couple of days. Dash is on his half-term holiday now, so there’s no Sunday evening homework to worry about. Roast pork with all the trimmings for supper, then a bit of running around in game to round off the evening.
