Autumnicon

Saturday. Another dark, wet and rainy start to the day. Just a quiet one, this weekend, with nearly everybody at home apart from Gubs. I popped out for an early walk along the lanes… I had a feeling the combination of wet weather and fallen leaves would provide plenty of photographic opportunities. It did.

In the afternoon, Raff, Monty, Kenadee, Milo and Vanessa went to Canterbury to visit the cathedral and for a bit of shopping, all followed by a nice meal at Wagamama. Later on, our mostly twenty-something offspring went to the supermarket to buy pumpkins so they could carve them ready for Halloween. It’s lovely to see them still enjoying those happy traditions from childhood!
