Blue Automobile
Thursday. It was a cold and overcast morning, but the sun and blue skies had returned by lunchtime. Given how bad Canterbury traffic has been lately, Dash and I left earlier for the school run, and it paid off; we missed the worst of the congestion and made good time. My morning was hectic, with many customers brandishing large orders and extensive lists. Fortunately, that nonsense had mostly settled by the afternoon, so I could still escape at a reasonable time. Now that summer is approaching, it is so good to leave work with ample daylight. On the way to my car, I noticed this abstract composition with bright, saturated colour from the paintwork and brake lights, and a reflection in the bonnet of a second car—I was quite pleased with this one.
