Elder Wood

Wednesday. I woke to a deluge outside. The rain hammered down, creating large puddles and watering baby plants across the land. Milo returned from his holiday after ten last night and has to work this morning… I do not envy him that. My workday was long and ran into the early evening, but nothing too tricky or complicated arose today. Before I left for the evening, I discovered this abstract texture composition on the wooden surface of a coffee table, beautifully lit by soft evening light from the setting sun.
