Convoluted
Monday. Cooler in the morning, and a little overcast. My annual leave is over, and it’s a long shift back in the office. Deep joy. Vanessa and the Fab Four are exploring Venice today — where they’re staying is a bus ride away from the city itself. Milo’s off to London for a job interview; Raff’s dropping him at the station to catch an 8 a.m. train, and we’re all keeping our fingers crossed for him. He got back late in the afternoon, but felt it had gone well. My work was slow today, but thankfully uncomplicated. I got away about seven in the evening, and came straight home for supper — chicken & potatoes tonight.
