Tuesday. A dry but very blustery morning, with fleeting patches of sunshine amid low, dark clouds that rapidly scudded across the sky. Heavy showers arrived before midday. We have an almost empty house; just Dash and me at home today. Raff’s in Prague till Thursday, and Vanessa is in Manchester — she’s catching a seven-thirty bus home this morning. I dropped Dash into Canterbury for two-thirty to meet his friends at the gym. Vanessa’s coach arrived at five, and we gave Dash a lift home as well. Chilli & ‘Nduja pizza for supper, a quick runaround in game, and an early night.
