Dampness in Dover

Tuesday. Grey skies and heavy rain from the start. The school run traffic was awful, with a tailback extending all the way onto the A2. We managed to avoid some of it with a sneaky route along the country lanes. I dropped Dash off and got out of there as fast as possible. Later in the morning, Gubs needed a lift into Dover to get a haircut. While I waited for him, I parked along the seafront and took a short, soggy walk on the beach. Perfect conditions for photography, with glistening wet rocks and a soft box sky. A coffee kiosk on the promenade provided a welcome hot latte afterwards.
