Edge of Destruction
Monday. Bright and sunny, with a cool breeze. I have a week of annual leave, so after dropping Dash off at sixth form, I drove straight home without becoming embroiled in the Canterbury traffic. V’s back to work as normal, and Milo starts his new job this morning. Raff and Gabriel are, like me, just having a quiet one. Monty’s catching the ferry from Hokkaido back to Honshu today — he has been bike-touring round the northern island for the last couple of weeks. The day remained mellow; I even took a long nap in the afternoon.
