Father's Day

It's a lovely Sunday morning, and it's Father's Day. As usual, I'm up and about early before the horde awakens; it's time to enjoy a coffee and potter about with stuff. V popped out for an early morning walk along the lane, but half an hour into the route, the clouds drew in, and the rain returned. I jumped in the car and headed off to the rescue with a waterproof jacket – nice to get my good deed for the day in early. On the way back, I saw the rising sun streaming through the foliage in this small patch of woodland; it was worth stopping to take a few pictures. I suspect there may be a lovely cooked breakfast in the near future... I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
