Hades & Haworthiopsis
Sunday. Everything outside was cold and grey, with heavy rain in the afternoon. I got up early and savoured the quiet before the rest of the household stirred. The boys have turned the lounge into a gaming den, with both the PS4 and Milo’s Xbox hooked up to the TV. They’ve even set up a walking pad in the room so they can exercise while playing. At the moment, they’re working their way through an excellent game called Hades. Vanessa arrived home around midday after her weekend with family in London. I cooked roast chicken for supper. Today’s photo: the edge of a leaf from a little succulent plant (Haworthiopsis attenuata) that sits on my windowsill, taken using a 200x Apexel microscope lens.
