Heartstrings
Thursday. Cloudy and overcast, with rain in the morning. The school run went smoothly, and my workday was wonderfully short. It turned out that all the afternoon’s jobs could be completed before lunch—that’s rare but nice when it happens. Lovely quiet evening, with chops, chips and gravy for supper.
