I Dream of Wires
Friday. It was cold, grey and misty first thing, when we left for the school run. By mid-morning, the weather had brightened up a lot, and we were treated to sunshine and blue skies for the rest of the day—a most welcome change. Dash had History and Maths GCSE mocks today. I had a long shift at work, supervising, and it remained quiet enough that I could catch up on all my paperwork. Got home just after seven—liver, bacon, mash & gravy for supper, and then a lovely relaxing Friday evening. Liv came over to visit Milo. She’s been away at university a lot, so it was nice to see her again. Ken, Monty and Dash had been out at the gym, then adjourned to the lounge to continue their Stranger Things marathon. Games night for me, with my guildies—we’re currently working our way through the Guild Wars 2 storyline in Sandswept Isles.
