Valentine’s Tree
Saturday. Cold, grey, and mostly drizzly. Quite a busy day for most of us: Milo had work this morning; Vanessa and Raff went to Canterbury for an appointment and a bit of shopping; Ken & Monty caught the train to Folkestone for a walk along the seafront. Kenadee had a hankering for sushi (her favourite food), so they’d booked a table at Kazoku Sushi, where you can eat as much of it as you like. Judging from Ken’s photos, the food was superb and plentiful—great value for less than £30 a head. With the gloomy weather, daylight faded early, so most of us snuggled in for supper and a cosy evening—except Milo, who was off to the pub with Liv.
Vanessa has a new plan for the remaining Christmas tree in the kitchen—it lends a nice bit of light and colour to an otherwise gloomy corner, so instead of taking it down, we’ll just redecorate it to match the next incoming festive event. We can’t be the first to think of this… a quick search on Amazon revealed plenty of Valentine’s Day and Easter baubles to be going on with.
