Last Day of Autumn
Sunday. It’s been a beautiful day with cloudless blue skies and wintry sunshine—and not even particularly cold. Vanessa had to work again, but got home earlier in the afternoon than usual. Raff went to Mass at midday, but the rest of us were free to potter about and relax. Monty took Bento for a long walk along the lanes. I had a few jobs to do around the house, a loose tripod head that needed fixing, and a few small photographic things to pick up in the Black Friday sales while they’re really cheap. Curry again for supper, boosted with a few extra ingredients, then a quiet evening and an early night. Today’s photo: fields along Singledge lane, recently harvested, with the wheat stubble glowing in the evening sunlight.
