New Winter’s Light

Monday morning has arrived, cold and liberally salted with wind and rain. It was a damp, blustery drive into the city for the school run, and the traffic wasn't great either. My workday went relatively smoothly, with a few tasks over lunchtime that took me across town and a long IT meeting in the afternoon. I got away by five, and while I was leaving the building, I noticed this composition and set up the phone on its dashboard mount for a long exposure to capture some light trails in the background.
